Leicester primary school’s plans for new perimeter fencing gets delegated by city council

By Arvind Kalsi

Plans to install new perimeter fencing at a primary school in Leicester are to be decided on by a council officer.

Linden Primary School in Evington put forward a planning application to Leicester City Council to put up a new 2.4 metre perimeter fencing which would replace the existing fence at the front of the school.

The application was received on November 6 but the council planning committee has delegated the decision to be made by an officer before March 16.
