The ‘Beat the Odds’ festival will be held at Highcross Leicester in April.
The free, family-friendly event, is designed to highlight what support can be given to all members of the family and to figure out which is the right support.
The event on Saturday, April 11, and Sunday 12 will highlight what support is available to people, as waiting lists and pressure on health services grow, bringing together a range of support organisations and initiatives that support the community in Leicester.
Everyone, whether searching for practical advice, emotional support, or wanting to explore what’s available in the local community, should be able to find something to help them during the festival.
Activities held during this event could include;
- Information stalls from local community groups and support services
- Advice and coaching opportunities
- Inspirational talks
- Interactive activities for all ages
- Sampler sessions
- Exclusive discounts
- Raffle prizes
