A Motown, Soul and Northern Soul night is set to take place at the MMC venue in Mountsorrel tomorrow (FridayJAN23).
The event will feature music from the venue’s resident DJ, Robin, who will play a mix of classic Motown tracks alongside soul and northern soul music.
Doors and the bar will open at 7.30pm, with the event running until 11.30pm.
The venue in Leicester Road, Mountsorrel, will offer unallocated seating as well as a dance floor, allowing attendees to move freely throughout the space.
The event forms part of MMC Venue’s wider programme of themed music nights, reflecting a continued interest in nostalgia-based events within local nightlife.
Such events have become increasingly common as venues look to appeal to mixed-age audiences and provide alternatives to late-night clubbing.
