Leicester City FC gear up for crucial home clash against Oxford United

By Bradley Katonia

Leicester City fans are buzzing with anticipation as the Foxes prepare to host Oxford United at the King Power Stadium this weekend in what could be a season-changing EFL Championship matchup.

The Foxes are still eyeing a spot in the Championship playoffs and are only five points off sixth place.

They have been in mixed form lately – winning two, losing two, and drawing once in their last five games.

On the other side of the coin, Oxford United are fighting for survival.

The U’s are in 23rd position in the league, five points from safety and will be desperate for a lifeline here.

Compared to Leicester City, they are in bad form recently, only winning once in their last five matches, having lost and drawn twice each.

Their match is scheduled for kick off on Saturday(JAN24) at 3pm at the King Power Stadium, with supporters urged to get tickets early to secure their spot in the stands.

In a bid to boost attendance and family turnout, the club has priced adult tickets starting from just £20, while children’s tickets are available from only £5.
