Free yoga sessions to take place on DMU campus

By Hannah Wiles

Free yoga and mindfulness sessions open to all DMU students will begin taking place later this month.

The sessions will be held at The Pod in the Students’ Union building, beginning on Wednesday, January 28, from 9am to 10am.

The sessions are open to all DMU students, with no prior yoga experience required.

Led by experienced instructor Josie, the gentle Hatha yoga class is part of a new Root to Rise series designed to support student wellbeing through movement and mindfulness.

Each week features a different theme aimed at helping students feel grounded, relaxed and recharged.

Spaces are limited to 12 students each week and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Students are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle.

To view available tickets, visit the Students’ Union website for more details: https://events.demontfortsu.com/event/yoga-lets-breathe-and-relax-1/274452.
