The two universities in Leicester collided for a final time this season when the De Montfort Lions 3rds played against the University of Leicester’s 3rds for their annual Varsity match.
The DMU Lions had the advantage going into the March 22 match, after ending the season with a historic title win despite having a game in hand.
Surely, the match was theirs for the taking…
