Newcastle Falcons player Adam Radwan joins Leicester Tigers

By Lou Ward

Newcastle Falcons player Adam Radwan has transferred to Leicester Tigers.

His unexpected transfer has stirred mixed reactions amongst fans.

“I’m very happy with him joining, he’s a good player and will replace Anthony Watson’s position as a winger,” said Tigers season ticket holder, Leigh Banville,

“He’s played for England so should be a good addition to the Tigers.”

Radwan will fill the gap left by Anthony Watson, who has announced his retirement from the sport.

The 27-year-old had made 128 appearances in his time with the Newcastle team.

Leicester Tigers are currently fourth in the Premiership and through to the last 16 teams in the Champions Cup.
