Holiday lodges and spa to be built on old golf course in Market Bosworth

By Lou Ward

Plans have been set in place for a new spa and 126 holiday lodges to be built on the untouched Market Bosworth’s Kyngs Golf and Country Club.

The club has been shut since 2016.

The company has asked for consent from Hickley and Bosworth Borough Council to build a golf leisure and health spa and a further 126 lodges off Station Road.

The spa would include ice plunge pools, saunas, treatment rooms, a gym and much more.

The facilities would only be accessible to members of the club or those playing on the course, according to planning documents submitted to the council.
