A version of hit TV show Take Me Out is the next event being lined up by the African and Caribbean Society (ACS) at De Montfort University (DMU) after successful collaborations with other branches.
The ACS has been very successful in providing events for people of African/Caribbean descent throughout the years.
Following the success of TikTok star Benzothe1st’s I’ve Been Deepin’ It gameshow in Leicester in October, DMU’s branch of the ACS is again collaborating with its counterparts at Leicester and Loughborough universities.
They are planning to deliver a rendition of Take Me Out on Wednesday, February 5, at the Sir Bob Burgess Building where they hope participants will find love as Valentines’ Day approaches.
Tickets have sold quickly since going on sale on Saturday, January 11, and can be found on the fatsoma website.
