Muslim women’s group hosts charity dinner to discuss journey of Islam

A Muslim women’s group in Leicester is inviting others to join them for a significant charity dinner to donate funds and help rebuild Syria.

The How Blessed is Shaam! Sisters Charity Dinner will take place on Saturday, January 25, from 5.30pm, doors open at 5pm.

As it is women-only event, speeches will be delivered by qualified aalimahs (female scholars).

They will talk about the importance of the end of times in Islam and of bringing together the Islamic community.

Tickets cost £15 and there will be a three-course meal.

The charity dinner takes place at the Evington Community Centre, in Hollington Road.
