By Remayah Tulloch-Hunter

Families enjoyed a free event by creating their own 3D Animation and Avatars with Leicester’s Cultural Quarter Earlies.

The Blocks, Bytes and Bots event on Saturday, January 11, included creating and drawing robots, as well as playing with Minecraft.

Young people aged 11 to 16 took part in the digital animation using free online tools that help transfer ideas into virtual scenes and characters.

The fortnightly digital animation sessions give tutorials on free online animation tools such as, Blender and A1- Based tools.
