Leicester student instrumental band Crescendo are looking forward to new year gigs after enjoying their first successful headline show.
The group performed at 2Funky Music Café in New Park Street on Friday, March 15.
Bassist Romaya Owusu-Ansah, 21, of De Montfort University, said: “The group was formed after finding out David Ojo, 21, knew how to produce music.
“And after speaking to our two bandmates whom I knew from back home, we decided after a few studio sessions to take this more seriously.
“We had a show early in the year which was a success and are looking to do a booking somewhere in the new year.”
