A hair products shop forced to close after an unexplained fire has been welcomed back by customers after re-opening in Leicester.
Beauty Queens Cosmetics closed and the building it was in at Belgrave Gate had to be demolished in October last year after the fire, the cause of which was not clear.
The Afro cosmetics and hair shop re-opened three months ago in the city’s Haymarket shopping centre.
Hair shop worker Sikander said: “We’ve got a very good response since the shop has opened again.
“Our old customers have come back, and we’ve also got new ones.”
Sikander added: “It’s very good to have a hair shop in Leicester so the residents don’t have to travel as far as London or Birmingham just to get hair products.
