Leicester-born stage manager works on world premiere show Laughing Boy

A Leicester-based stage manager is working with award-winning actress Janie Dee on the West End world premiere of new show Laughing Boy.

The play follows a moving true story about a boy who had learning disabilities who tragically died.

Heather Smith, a-23-year old former student at Leicester College, helped build the set and do the painting on the show as the scenic artist. 

The London show has run from April 21 until today(FRI,MAY31) at the Jermyn Street Theatre before continuing its run in Bath.
