Leicestershire Foxes hosted an event with fans at the Sixes social cricket venue to launch the upcoming T20 season, as well as their new kit for the competition.

The event at the indoor cricket centre in Halford Street on Saturday(MAY11) had six current players interact with fans, including Josh Hull, Una Paramjothy, Rebecca Brooker, Harry Swindells, Ben Cox, and Louis Kimber.

“It’s great to be around the fans and meeting them,” said Paramjothy, who has been at the club since 2010.

“The lads are really looking forward to get going,” said teenage sensation Hull, who is looking forward to his second season at the club.

Although Leicestershire Foxes had a poor T20 campaign last season, finishing 9th in the north group with only two wins, they did win some silverware last season, beating Hampshire by two runs in the One-Day Cup.

“It’s given us confidence and we can use that to hopefully be successful,” said Kimber ahead of his fourth season at the club.

The event brought out many fans across all ages with some players saying that they are looking forward to more interaction with the fans.
