CODE student accommodation in Western Road hosted a clothes sale with all proceeds going to Women’s Aid Leicestershire.
The event today (TUESJAN23), organised by Lynn Lewis, customer service and welfare director at CODE and a trustee on the board at the aid, said the event was a great success, drawing the attention of DMU students.
Our reporter Gemma West asked her how important the event was for raising money for the Women’s Aid charity and why it’s necessary to support causes like this.
