A Liberal Democrat councillor is criticising the Conservative government about their climate change plans.
Paul Hartshorn, the councillor for Blaby ward in Leicestershire, criticised the government at a COP28 meeting at De Montfort University, which was also attended by the Leicester City councillor for Evington ward, Deepak Bajaj (Conservative).
He believes that the Government is going back on promises they made after the 2019 general election.
