By Shreeya Vaja

Throughout the summer, Soft Touch Arts on New Walk is curating a Punk: Rage and Revolution exhibition to explore the UK punk scene in the 1970s.

Leicester Museum and Arts Gallery and Soft Touch Arts are presenting the punk exhibition to show the 1970s movement through original Vivienne Westwood clothing, artwork by Jamie Reid (the art behind the Sex Pistols album covers) and explanations on punk ideology and origin.

The exhibition also explores the Leicester punk scene in 1970 through punk pubs, clubs and people from Leicester who influenced the growth of punk on a national level.

This exhibition is running until Sunday, September 3.
