Spooky Space Centre to transform for Halloween

By Ben Stevens

The National Space Centre in Leicester is offering half-term holiday fun for everyone over the coming weeks by running their ‘Spooky Space’ exhibition, an astronomical take on Halloween.

From October 15-30, the centre is presenting a series of spooky themed games and activities for people of all ages including the ‘School of Science Magic’ which offers people a chance to take part in ‘explosive fun’ and ‘mysterious experiments.’

Additionally, the National Space Centre is offering activities such as creating your own space spider as well as a game where you can explore creepy Halloween themed optical illusions.

Another of the highlights is entry into what usually is the Planetarium but instead will be transformed for the next couple of weeks into a scary ‘Plane-scarium.’

Here will be a blend of Halloween and space themed shows, including one showcasing aliens, and an informative show that explains the relationship between humans and climate change.
