DMU is teaming up with ‘Life Links’ to encourage students to open up about their mental health and share their experiences in a safe space.
The group meets up every Thursday from 14:00-15:00 and offers a student peer support group hosted by two ‘Life Links’ trained recovery workers.
‘Life Links’ is a Leicester based non-profit organisation that specialises in mental health wellbeing and offers a recovery support group for those in need.
Students can attend to be in a non-judgemental environment and to learn self-help tools and coping strategies to help them manage their mental health independently.
