Students at DMU can get free meals every afternoon and evening this week at a string of events hosted by the Leicester Christian Unions.

Partnered with the Leicester Christian Unions, De Montfort University Christian Union (DMUCU) is encouraging students at DMU to participate in a series of events to solve the all-important question: ‘What’s my story?’

Alice Priest, an active member of DMUCU, said: “I’m so excited for the events! It’s a great way to engage with the Christian community and learn about faith.”

‘What’s my story?’ encourages students to reflect on their faith and learn new things about Christianity through various events and activities.

The events include talks about strength, happiness, science vs faith, pain, as well as stories of disruption, outcasts, successes, suffering and hope.

On Friday, there will be an opportunity to ‘grill a Christian’ where students can ask questions about Christianity or how to join DMUCU.

Along with the talks and stories, De Montfort University and the University of Leicester will be facing off in a bake off on Tuesday and there will be a pub quiz held on Wednesday.

All events will be taking place at New Walk Museum every day between 12-2pm and 7-9pm.

Alice said: “I encourage everyone to come and take part in these events.

“Plus, there’s free doughnuts!”
