Leicester City fan Simon Marlow will be set to walk from Loughborough to Nottingham ahead of Leicester City’s FA cup fixture with Nottingham Forest on Sunday(FEB6).
Simon Marlow, from Whitwick, is walking to Nottingham to aid legendary Leicester City fan Bernie Henson, who has attended Leicester City matches for more than 40 years.

So far, Simon has raised more than £1,000, with all donations being split between Bernie’s care home and the Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha foundation, set up in memory of the football club’s chairman who died in a helicopter crash in October 2018.
Simon will start the 16-mile walk at 8.30am on Sunday, ahead of the first East Midlands derby in eight years, which kicks off at 4pm.
Simon has been overwhelmed with support. People even offered to throw a party for Bernie and donated a signed Leicester shirt.
