Leicester’s celebration for St George’s Day, a mainstay of the city’s annual events calendar, will take place online for the first time due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Usually, the festival would see crowds gather in the Cultural Quarter of the city, but this year the event will be streamed live on Facebook instead for people to access from their homes.
Beginning at midday on Saturday (APR24), the celebrations will feature a packed lineup of interactive activities, such as storytelling, magic shows, musical performances and much more.
