Free books to be handed out to young people in Leicester

By Joshua Solomon

Leicestershire Cares is a charity that aims to support and create opportunities for young people and help them to progress in education, employment and their wider lives.

They have teamed up with Penguin, Specsavers, Reading Agency and world book night, who have donated books that will be distributed to young people all over Leicester “to encourage and inspire them”?

Leicestershire Cares has a vision “where nobody is left behind, and all children and young people are supported to reach their full potential.”

They do this by teaming up with various companies and institutions such as De Montfort University and Leicester City Council.
