Leicester City Council staff will be going door to door with coronavirus test kits this week.
Staff and trained volunteers will be knocking on doors to deliver testing kits and to speak with residents about the coronavirus.
The council has targeted certain areas that have a high number of cases.
This decision was made after the widespread community testing was an important factor in bringing down the infection rate over the summer in the city.
These are the current dates of visit:
Yesterday (MON,FEB1): Spinney Hill, Charnwood
Today(FEB2): Hamilton, St Saviours
Tomorrow(FEB3): Stoneygate, St Matthews and St Peters, Northfields
Thursday: Abbey, Belgrave, Hamilton
Friday: New Parks West, West End
The council is advising people to take a test even if they are not suffering from any Covid symptoms.
