The National Space Centre in Leicester is running a special ‘Mission Mars’ event until Saturday(FEB23).
‘Mission Mars’, which started last Saturday, is being run as this year Earth and Mars will get closer, an event that occurs every 26 months.
The museum is running activities such as a live science show to explore the missions to Mars that are happening in 2020, talks from experts in Martian exploration, a working model of a Mars Rover and a planetarium show.
The space centre advises people to buy tickets in advance to guarantee entry and beat the queues and can be purchased on the website.
