A new limited time exhibition opened at the DMU art gallery in the Vijay Patel building last Thursday.
The exhibition is showcasing work from Stefania Lucca and is made up of work that was produced during her PhD studies at DMU.
There are five series of paintings on display, with names such as Somatic Landscape, Phantasmagorical Self, and Hers, which explore the way in which human bodies react to emotional stimuli.
Lucca’s work is abstract, with an emphasis on flesh and neutral tones, with a further emphasis on various tones of grey.
The exhibition runs until Thursday.
