Leicester City completed the deadline day signing of Wolves centre-back Ryan Bennett on Friday(JAN31).
Bennett, 29, has moved to the Foxes on loan until the end of the season, with a £5m deal to make his transfer permanent in place if he makes a certain number of appearances.
The former Grimsby, Peterborough and Norwich man made 92 appearances for Leicester’s Midlands rivals, scoring three goals, one of which came against the Foxes in a 4-3 win for Wolves in January 2019.
The move has also allowed Leicester’s young centre-back Filip Benkovic to move on loan to Championship side Bristol City.
