Young Leicester City midfielder ‘has future’ at the club despite lack of work permit

Young Leicester City midfielder Kamal Sowah has a future at the club, despite not being eligible for a work permit.

Sowah, 19, is currently on loan at the Foxes’ sister club Oud-Heverlee Leuven – who play in the Belgian second division – and has impressed with his displays in central midfield.

“Kamal definitely has a future here,” said a source close to Leicester City.

“The coaching staff have been really impressed by his performances at Leuven,” he continued. “I’m not sure about his work permit but the senior officials at the club wouldn’t be so invested in his performances at Leuven if it wasn’t a possibility.”
