A woman was found in her bungalow in Market Harborough yesterday(THU,FEB21) afternoon but later died.
Leicestershire Police said they attended an incident at a bungalow in Douglass Drive after concern had been expressed for a woman who lived there.
A force spokeswoman, said: “Shortly after midday yesterday (Thursday 21 February) we received a call regarding concern for the welfare of a woman at an address in Douglass Drive, Market Harborough.
“The woman was taken to hospital where she subsequently died. The death is being treated as unexplained at this time.”
