Could summer be coming soon?

The weather is looking to improve from one harsh winter, with temperatures soaring to 18 degrees next week.

Although there will be cloud coverage, the temperature will make it finally feel like spring time, as we reach the middle of April.

The met office has stated that by next weekend the weather is likely to be fine and dry with above average temperatures, however there is an increasing chance of rain and strong winds returning towards the end of the period.

Towards the end of April and beginning of May the weather is likely to turn unsettled, with an increased chance of wet and windy weather, so it seems that summer is not just right around the corner for us in Leicester.

The Met Office have further stated that the most likely scenario is for mixed conditions through early rain.
