Students at De Montfort University in Leicester have today voiced their thoughts on underage children using social media.
They were asked to explain their feelings on the effects of social media on young people and the results that could occur from them using it.
The students were asked: “Do you think more age restrictions are needed for social media? Why?”
The survey was carried out following a BBC report that posed the question of underage use of social media in the light of Apple chief executive Tim Cook’s admission he restricts his nephew’s usage of the internet platforms. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-42774368
