Casbah 2 June 2017 v3

Having played in Leicester last July, Birmingham rockers Broken Witt Rebels return to The Musician on Friday, June 2nd 2017.

They describe themselves as “Blues sodden, sultry, humid music displaying all the solidity of a British rock legacy merged with a confidence of an atmospheric deep south soulful Americana,” and are heralded as ‘one of the most exciting live bands in the country’.

Having just completed the Planet Rock Roadsters tour, they are playing in Leicester for a one-off gig before entertaining at the Camden Festival and then crossing the pond for gigs in Arizona and Texas. A busy June is topped off with a performance on the Zippo Encore Stage at Download Festival.

Their third EP, Georgia Pine, was released in late 2016 to great success and is available to listen on Spotify and iTunes.

Doors open at The Musician, Clyde Street, 8pm and tickets costing £8 are available to purchase on http://www.wegottickets.com/event/388941.

Catch the full interview with the band next week on LeicestershirePress.com.
