Two arrested in connection with Canonsleigh Road murder

Detectives investigating the murder of a man in Leicester have made two arrests.
A 19-year-old man, from Leicester, was arrested on suspicion of murder during the early hours of this morning (Monday 27 March) and is currently in custody, where he is will be questioned by detectives.
His arrest is in connection with the death of the 22-year-old, who was assaulted in Canonsleigh Road just after 6.20am on Sunday. Police were called to a car park by the ambulance service after a man was found with life-threatening injuries.
He taken to hospital where he later died.
A post-mortem examination which was carried out yesterday determined that he died from a stab wound.
A 21-year-old woman has been arrested for assisting an offender. She is also in custody.
