By Luke Hawker

Following reports this morning of a missing person in Leicestershire named locally as Carole Hardacre, 19, who was last seen around
6.15pm yesterday (Sunday 30 October) at her home address in Hathern.

Carol is described as 5ft 4ins tall, of slim build and has shoulder length burgundy hair. When she was last seen, Carol was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms, pink hooded top, grey Superdry jacket and beige Ugg boots.

Her family are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare and urge anyone knows where she is to contact officers.

If you have seen Carol, or know anything about her whereabouts, contact us on 101 quoting incident number 820 of 30 October.

If you suspect someone you know is missing please do not hesitate to contact the police.

A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police, said: “Many people believe that the police will not treat somebody as missing until they have been missing for over 24 hours, hence do not tell us.

“The first 24 hours during an individual going missing can be vital in the search for them so please contact us as soon as you believe someone to be missing.”

The national description of a ‘missing person’ is anyone whose whereabouts cannot be established and where the circumstances are out of character or the context suggests the person may be subject of crime or risk of harm to themselves or another

You can report a missing person by ringing the police on 101 (999 in an emergency) or in person at your local police station.
