The Leicester City frontman surpassed Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s record of ten consecutive Barclay’s Premier League goals on Saturday evening and the achievement has not gone unnoticed with university students.

Martin Shaffu, Graphic Design Student, and Jonny Crofts, Fine Art, both follow the Foxes and believe that Vardy’s accomplishments this year can give people in all walks of life a lot of confidence.

Martin said: “It’s a fantastic advertisement for those who are doing the business in the Conference and lower divisions, so it’s a fantastic advertisement overall.”

The striker’s achievement this term have lead to him receiving another call up to the national side and he will hope to continue his fine run of form for his club in order to retain the their top flight status.
