Palestine Action, a group seeking to disrupt the sites of Israeli-based military technology company Elbit Systems, is holding a direct-action training day in Leicester.
It says the aim of the event on Saturday, June 15, is ‘to bring together like minded people for a day of talks, trainings and group discussions’.
The group is calling for Elbit Systems to shut down its sites.
A previous protest saw the Leicester site of Elbit Systems UK subsidiary UAV Tactical Systems disrupted, with protestors smashing into the site’s fence with a van, before climbing on top.
Another group of protestors scaled the building and occupied its roof, according to a Palestine Action press release.
A UAV Tactical Systems spokesperson said that the UK subsidiary does not produce weapons for Israel.
