As the calendar flips over to December, Christmas celebrations in Leicester are beginning to ramp up.
A whole host of festive themed activities will begin in the city over the weekend, including a special visit from Father Christmas himself at the Town Hall Square, where he will be every day up until December 23.
There are also plenty of things to do for adults as well, with various winter markets and Christmas fairs ongoing during the run-up to the school holidays and the big day itself, highlighted by the Guildhall Christmas Craft Fair this Saturday and Sunday.
Theatre and pantomime productions are also in full swing with various shows taking place at locations across the city, including the Curve.
