People looking to seek alternative ways into university and higher education are being invited to an open day at the beginning of December to find out more information.
Leicester Adult Education College will hold the open day next Friday, December 2 between 11.00 and 13.00 and will provide information about its Pre-Access to University course.
The course is open to almost everyone with the only requirement being that attendees have level 1 English to maths skills, equivalent to D/E at GCSE.
The Pre-Access to University course will run for six months and aims to provide people, who don’t already have them, with the necessary qualifications to commence a course at university.
The course will also be completely free for eligible applicants, including those who are unemployed or on low incomes.
