Anti-bullying week makes an entrance at DMU

By Kira Gibson

A day filled with rock decorating was held to mark anti-bullying week at De Montfort University Students’ Union yesterday (NOV17).

The week, which makes an appearance every year in November, aims to raise awareness of bullying and the impact it has on people.

The week is publicised across the country and world and companies such as Disney have specific episodes to do with bullying shown across their TV shows.

The event yesterday was held in the Zen Zone in the Students’ Union building and the point was to spread positivity by leaving the pebbles around campus or taking them home to be enjoyed by flatmates or family members.
