New Leicester city centre restaurant kicks off to an excellent start

Leicester residents have been thrilled after tasting the delightful flavours of the new Chinese restaurant, Chopstix Noodle Bar, in Leicester city centre.
The new restaurant, at 1 Gallowtree Gate, opened on Monday, October 4, serving its first 100 diners with free noodle boxes.
The restaurant chain was founded by two brothers in law, Sam Elia and Menashe Sadik in 1999 in London, although its development into a chain began after 2002.
Chopstix’s Pan-Asian dishes, including the newly introduced caramel chicken, gives it a unique yet scrumptious kick to the flavour.
Leicester Chopstix’s Assistant Manager, Jaskaran Kaur, said: “Chopstix is a Chinese noodle bar, so we have a mixture of many such as the Chinese chicken curry, Thai chicken, sweet and sour chicken and even our new caramel chicken flavour.
“We have separate choices so you can pick whatever you like, it’s not like other restaurants where you buy a full dish.
“The most popular dish here is teriyaki beef and of course the caramel chicken as it is the most unique yet famous dish.”
For Chopstix lovers, the restaurant offers student discounts, complimentary discounts for regular customers as well as free vouchers.
Jaskaran said: “The first week of opening we were giving out 1,000 free spring rolls to the first 1,000 customers.
“Currently we are making £21,000 a week and that is very impressive considering we are just on the second week, so that’s a good start.
“We expect the next coming week to be very busy.”
Aside from Leicester, Chopstix Noodle Bar is also located in many other areas around England, including Manchester, London, Nottingham, Liverpool.
Chopstix are currently looking for new staff and are hoping to open more restaurants within the UK.
