Leicester City season ticket donations help improve Kinmouth Unit at Royal Infirmary

For many football followers, a season ticket is a yearly purchase, but instead of taking the money back from not being able to attend games, Leicester City fans have helped improve the Kinmouth Unit at the Leicester Royal Infirmary.

It totalled £162,000 in all with fans being given the option to volunteer to give some of the money as a charity donation instead.

The club’s Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation have now used the money to help the unit which admits patients who require major surgeries.

During the pandemic, space was at a premium in hospitals but this will help those needing extended stays in the hospital.
