By Samuel Gill

Fast food chain Jollibee, which has come from the Philippines, will open its new Leicester branch tomorrow (FRI,NOV20), with the third restaurant set to be opened in the UK.

It will also be the first in the Midlands with locations in London and Liverpool opened after the success of the chain in America.

Initially due to lockdown restrictions, the restaurant will open as a takeaway/delivery only for now with eat-in set to take place when lockdown is lifted.

The menu features Chickenjoy, which is their fried chicken, Jolly Spaghetti which they are well known for due to a sweet sauce, ham, ground meat and hotdog as well as burgers and will be open from 10am.

It joins other fast food chains to pick Leicester as one of their first locations in the UK with Taco Bell and Tim Hortons opening over the past year.
