Police pledge to enforce National Lockdown in Leicester

Leicestershire Police have made it clear that they will use “enforcement” if social distancing rules are broken during the second lockdown.

Boris Johnson has announced a second lockdown that started today (THU,NOV5) at 00:01, meaning all non-essential shops will be closed such as shops, pubs, and restaurants.

Leicester is currently in Tier 2 restrictions, meaning households should not mix indoors, but the rule of six applies to outdoor spaces. This is subject to change at midnight. Click more to find out.
