The first dance competition of the year is fast approaching.
Working with UEA Dancesport, Ballroom and Latin American Dancing Society, Leicester University will host this friendly, medium-sized event on Saturday, November 10.
Practice sessions are available this week on Thursday, from 5pm to 6pm. Dancers and beginners can practice for the big event.
The Leicester Friendly competition is open to beginners. On its facebook page, the UEA Dancesport said: “Beginners will only compete with beginners. You’re all in the same boat and just there to have fun!”
The official competition starts at 10am with doors opening at 9am. The event is expected to last all day finishing at 9pm.
