By Ollie Heppenstall

The Leicester Remembers project has launched its final exhibition of the year to commemorate the end of the First World War.

This exhibition, which is to be held at the Newarke Houses Museum, comes as part of the nation-wide conclusion to the ongoing centenary of the last four years.

From the Trenches to the Twenties is the third exhibition to be held by the Leicester Remembers project.

It will look at the First World War’s conclusion, the epidemic of Spanish influenza, the election of 1918 and the Britain to which its soldiers would return to.

The exhibition began on September 29th, runs until February 24th, and is open from 10am until 4pm, Mondays to Saturdays and 11am until 4pm on Sundays.
