A supercar driving instructor from Leicestershire entertained a very special guest last Friday, as he helped actor Matt Smith get behind the wheel of a Lamborghini Gallardo.
Conor Muldoon, 21, from Fleckney, instructed the former Doctor Who star at Dunsfold Park in Surrey, the same track used by hit automotive TV show, Top Gear.

Conor said: “He’s a cool guy. I was a bit star-struck at first, but he was very down to earth and just your average lad really.
“He was a good driver. He listened to me really well and took on board all the advice I had for him.”
Smith had been treated to the lush Lamborghini experience by his sister, but Conor says he wasn’t aware of who he was instructing at first.
“I only found out five minutes before the start of the lesson. He was heavily dressed to avoid attention, so I didn’t recognise him at first.”
He added: “As soon as he took off his hat in the car, I got a little nervous, but he was very friendly and engaging about the course.”
The experience was provided by Everyman Motor Racing, a company Conor has worked for since his graduation from Nottingham Trent University in the summer.
The business allows Conor to travel the country to control supercars at all of its unique tracks, an aspect he relishes.
“It’s a dream job given the calibre of cars I get to drive. I see it as more of a hobby and I always look forward to getting behind the wheel.”
Leicestershire boasts three tracks for motor-racing enthusiasts to sample, located at Prestwold, Lutterworth and Mallory Park.
Manufacturers such as Aston Martin, Ferrari and Porsche are notable examples of the exciting supercar brands afforded to instructors and participants at those circuits.
