The annual Festival of Ideas returns today, giving people the chance to discover more about De Montfort University’s world-leading research.
The festival, which runs from Monday 7 until Tuesday 15 March, aims to celebrate DMU’s academic teaching and achievements through a number of small talks, exhibitions and workshops.
The festival will start with a talk from a group of students from the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences today from 1-2pm and will highlight the ways in which students and staff will be making a positive difference in India through the DMU Square Mile India project.
The event was first held in April 2013 and subsequently held the following year due to the levels of popularity it gained.
