Lego is once again predicted to be the most popular Christmas gift among children this year, according to a Leicestershire toyshop.
Jenny Cross, the manager of Geoff’s Toys in High Street, Coalville, believes the colourful building blocks will be topping present wish lists during this holiday season.
She said: “It’s hard to say what will be popular this year, depending on the toyshop, but for us it’s always been Lego.”
Geoff’s Toys, which also has a branch in High Street, Loughborough, has been preparing for the flood of festive shoppers with a discount club.
Jenny added: “We had a Christmas Club running since September which allows people to get shopping done even if they’re on a budget.”
Meanwhile, another toy store, London’s Hamleys, has revealed its predictions for the most popular toys in 2014:
• My Friend Cayla (£75)
• Doh Vinci Style and Store Vanity design kit (£25)
