Watch This Space Boutique on Silver Street will be releasing a range of exclusive headpieces made by Vagabond Couture in time for Christmas.
Launched by Karen Graves in 2011, Vagabond Couture are the sole makers of intricate feather mohawks in the UK. Based in Brighton, the designer contacted Watch This Space after recognising its independent prestige.
Owner of Watch This Space, Stephanie Macdonald-Walker, said: “The product immediately screamed out Watch This Space because of the unique features and the incredible statement it gives off. Our store exudes hand-made, exclusive pieces that would not be seen in everyday retail.
“This beaded, chained and feathered headwear wouldn’t necessarily be worn in the daytime, as it’s more of a theatrical piece. The headpieces will be the main feature of our window display; as the designer has an incredibly high following. I’m thrilled to be hosting such a recognised headwear company.”
Vagabond Couture has made regular appearances in Elle UK and Vogue Magazine so the store and its customers are naturally excited about the cutting-edge designs.
Regular customer, Samira Jamaale, said: “I’m ecstatic to see what Watch This Space has in store for us…the window displays are always incredibly eye-catching anyway so this is going to be unreal! Having Vagabond Couture here in Leicester will be a big step for independent designers.”
